I feel a great closure and great gratitude. I offer my profound thanks to everyone who worked so hard to finalize and bring about this beautiful memorial. It seemed everyone was so grateful that it was finally accomplished.
It was a beautiful day with friends and remembering our loved ones.
(Barbara Sines was the mother of Ron Sines and Nancy Sines, who died in Jonestown. Barbara’s desire to see the completion of a Jonestown memorial at Evergreen Cemetery was a driving force towards its placement and dedication in May 2011. She died on January 15, 2014.)
