Jeff Brailey was the senior medic of the Joint Humanitarian Task Force sent to Guyana in November 1978 to retrieve the remains of the Peoples Temple members who died there. He was a regular correspondent for the jonestown report for several years.

In 1998, Jeff wrote a book, The Ghosts of November, which describes his experiences during his weeks in Guyana. He revised it several times in an effort to secure a mainline publisher. His final revision is reproduced as The Ghosts of November–Web Edition.
Jeff maintained a blog between 2007 and 2008 – also named The Ghosts of November – the entries in which this site has reproduced. We have also archived the site as it appeared at the time of Jeff’s death here.
