- The church at Peoples Temple’s last address in Indianapolis – 1502 N. New Jersey Street – is now the home of the mostly-black congregation of the Restoration Baptist Church. A color photo of the building appears partway down this page of the Indianapolis Star newspaper.
- The church that Peoples Temple built on East Road in Redwood Valley, California is now the Assembly of God Redwood Valley.
- The San Francisco headquarters for Peoples Temple no longer exists. The Loma Prieta earthquake on 17 October 1989 demolished the Temple’s former headquarters on Geary Boulevard. The building was subsequently razed, and a branch of the USPS now occupies the location. There are pictures of it on the web including an image from the San Francisco Public Library, a photo from the San Francisco digital archive and a 1976 photo on the SFGate website. A photo from The San Francisco Chronicle shows the earthquake damage. (A Primary Source page on the acquisition of this building is here.)
- The Temple’s church at 1366 S. Alvarado Street in Los Angeles is now the Iglesia Adventista Central, a Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Pictures of the building appear here and here on this site. A two-minute clip from a 1972 documentary includes several shots of the building’s exterior, as well as glimpses of the interior during a Temple service. (A Primary Source page on the acquisition of this building is also here.)
