On 12/15/78, U.S. Ambassador John Burke, Embassy of the United States of America, Georgetown, Guyana, advised SAs Robert W. Oglesby and [Name deleted] that he would not permit the transporting of a seven-inch reel of tape from Guyana. This seven-inch reel of tape contained the “Last Hour” recording of Jonestown, Guyana. This tape had previously been given to SA [name deleted] by Ambassador Burke on 12/5/78.
On 12/15/78, this seven-inch reel of tape was given to Ambassador Burke.
