Attorney Jerald M. Ladar, San Francisco, represents Michael Prokes, key PT member and among the inner circle, recently returned from Jonestown, Guyana. Ladar has been in contact with United States Attorney’s (USA) Office, San Francisco, advising that Prokes could furnish pertinent information re captioned matter, including data relating to finances, weapons, and possible political corruption. Ladar stated that inasmuch as the political corruption would impact on USA G. William Hunter, San Francisco, he will not discuss the matter further with representatives of the USA’s office.

USA Hunter contacted San Francisco office and requested FBI to discuss the matter with Ladar. Ladar, when contacted, stating he rather discussed matter with departmental attorney, Washington, DC. It is noted that Ladar has made overtures concerning possible immunity for his client with USA and the FBI and this matter could arise in his discussions with departmental attorney.
FBI HQ is requested to contact appropriate departmental attorney and placing in contact with attorney Ladar. Ladar maintains offices in San Francisco, telephone number (415) 928-3636. For the best interest of this case, it is suggested agents of this office be represented in any contacts departmental attorney has with Ladar.
