Re San Juan teletype to San Francisco, dated June 16, 1981, relaying information from American Embassy, Georgetown.
Review of referenced teletype determined all questions presented have been resolved in previous communications with the exception of request by Dr. Leslie Mootoo. Dr. Mootoo has made request of additional $50.00 per day witness fee. Dr. Mootoo should be advised that expert witnesses (physicians – pathologists – coroners, etc.) who testify in federal court are considered expert witnesses and are entitled to additional payment in his request and $50.00 is reasonable and acceptable.
