On April 6, 1982 government made motion for an extension of time in which to file briefs in latent [Layton] appeal before the Ninth Circuit. A thirty-day extension was granted. Government briefs now ordered to be served and filed on May 5; defendant’s brief on May 19; government’s answering brief on June 2; and defendant’s reply brief due June 9. Thereafter, date of oral arguments that normally within thirty days. Above schedule extends earliest estimates of commencement of jury selection into the fall of 1982.
