Desmond Hoyte was Guyana’s Minister of Development for the duration of Peoples Temple’s life in Guyana. He was never an ally of Peoples Temple, but his position within the Burnham cabinet meant the Georgetown staff had to meet with him periodically. The following table includes the Temple’s notes of phone calls and meetings with Burnham, and Temple memos which discuss the Minister.
