He talked about the lack of spontaneity in our people – he’s been here several times says he’s heard say thing each time he’s come [I’ll cut short some of this since Sarah by this time has given blow by blow account] Gaskin thinks there’s much regimentation and an authoritarian structure that prevails he asked us about background and why we followed was it because of some charisma – we countered that but he persisted w/how loose were we in terms of relations did Jim fuck around – countered w/ loyalty to his wife and he’d be better asking Jim, Jim could speak for himself. Claims he wants to come up and visit for a week – probably bullshit but looks like he was coming on to Sarah or wherever she might lead for some pussy or a dick! Not necessarily in that order

I wasn’t listening after you said “one more thing”; so I took that to mean any infraction after tonite.
I think much of your words have been very applicable to me. I’ve allowed myself to lapse into lethargy and a lot of self indulgence – I’ve not assumed the responsibility or given input into strategy or decision making – without going on I intend to cut this shit – I do recognize and remember I owe a debt that I still must take care of.

Death has been made an extremely easy thing to accept – almost too much so – you’ve made it as simple as drinking a cup of coffee – alls I can say about pain is when I was younger and trained athletically I’d push myself to accept pain as pleasure. Though a different type of pain than torture I don’t think I fear that but what’s what – you don’t really know jack shit until its right on you – so I’ll continue preparing myself w/a pessimistic outlook yes I could kill wife or child or whoever if traitor – I killed several of my dogs and I was quite close to them more so than any fools I know – one fear is how to deal w/ folks if something happened to you. I’m fairly certain there’d be a lot of shit that would go down in that we live on borrowed time now (life) [arrow pointing right] things would only be sped up. To do away w/us there’d be uncontrollable anarchy here. If able to I’d bolt and pursue some of the pricks that have tried to do us in over the years even if it took kama-kazi tactics (which I’ve been thinking about in past few days in regards to Stoen).

Minister Carmichael was defensive of us at meeting in Kaituma this afternoon. He was asked why our friends in Jonestown hadn’t voted in referendum – He said they are all registered but haven’t yet satisfied the years for citizenship. He went on – it’s not a matter of them not wanting to vote, they do, but have to satisfy time period for citizenship.
He also committed us for rendering service of Cudjoe, hopes we continue service – this all done publicly

I spoke out asking what could be done to get a vehicle – who do we see, what’s the procedure – after a few minutes they were convinced they should pursue this & have a delegation check with administration in the Ridge–
Russell [Moton] said some woman sitting next to Nurse White asked if I was trying to start trouble –
That’s it – folks are just sitting around in Kaituma with no fuel to power generator, and no food in ration store – not knowing how soon the govt boat will come in with supplies.
