Re Butelcal to San Francisco, July 12, 1979.

Jeannie Mills, Human Freedom Center, 3028 Regent Street, Berkeley, California, upon being reinterviewed by the FBI on July 13, 1979, advised that in her recently published book, “Six Years With God” she wrote of the Roseville, California train explosion. She explained that this was a reproduced affidavit in 1976 which was given by her under duress to Jones. According to Mills, she had no involvement or specific knowledge regarding the Roseville explosive nor did she know of any People’s Temple member involvement in this matter. She related that this was one of several statements

that Jones forced members to make, and another tactic he used to intimidate and compromise people.
