At 9:30 AM, Atlantic Standard Time (AST), Ward Morrow, Deputy U.S. Consul, Bridgetown, Barbados, was contacted by San Juan Office (SJO). Morrow advised he was aware of Charles Touchette’s deportation from Trinidad on January 16, 1979, but not aware of planned arrival of Charles Touchette, Michael Touchette or [Karl Barnett] into Barbados.

Morrow will inquire with local authorities, Bridgetown and U.S. Consulate in Georgetown, and expeditiously advise San Juan regarding intentions of Barbados authorities and travel plans of above individuals.
San Juan is making arrangements for travel of Special Agents to interview above individuals in the event they arrive and stay in Barbados. Bureau and San Francisco office will be kept advised.
