Mike Abbell, Departmental Attorney, U.S. Department of Justice, advised a.m., 12/1/78, he had just received a phone call from Colonel Scott, Military Liaison at State Department, 632-2438. Colonel Scott indicated that the Military had flown radio transceivers from Jonestown to MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa. Colonel Scott did not know the significance of the radio transceivers; however, they were considered part of evidence out of Jonestown and he could be contacted if this appeared to be of interest to the FBI. The transceivers are two Japanese made transceivers and the Make is WAESU, Model FT101E, and the serial numbers are 7M310162 and 7C251311. The log books are still in Guyana.
