Blair Alan Gadsby was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and served two years in his early twenties with Youth With a Mission, a Christian relief agency, in Mombasa, Kenya in east Africa. He has a B.A. in History of the Non-Western World at Westfield State University and an M.A. in Religious Studies at the University of Toronto (1992). He is currently Adjunct Faculty of Religious Studies at Maricopa County Community College District and at Arizona State University teaching World Religions, among other courses.
