This tape consists of four minutes of music recorded in Jonestown. It has double-tracking for part of it, and there is no real intelligible conversation, and much of it is broken up with interrupted.
At the beginning, a man sings “Proud Mary,” by Credence Clearwater Revival on one track, while Jim Jones sings an unknown song on track 2. A man calls out “Oh, yeah, Reverend Moe” at 0:48.
At 1:20, a man says, “Eddie [likely interrupted tape for Teddy] McMurry. This– this is very tough. Watch out. You can’t mess around.”
At 2:00, a man says, “Coming up now is Cleveland Garcia and Jerome Simon.”
At 2:24, he says, “Everybody on their toes– on their feet. Ain’t nothing but a party right here at the party pavilion. It’s where the action is with [unintelligible name].”
The tape breaks at 3:15, and a new song starts, but it ends a few seconds later.
