Remembrances |
|
“Geri, as we called her, was Amanda Fair's sister! Geri Bailey was another heavy-hitter, a natural manager. She was in charge of seating, both in the San Francisco Temple and at Jonestown, when visitors were in attendance. Geri was a Team B counselor, supervised the Correspondence to Life project, and kept the guest book at Jonestown for visitor sign-ins. Although it wasn't on her list of responsibilities, per Edith Roller's journals, Geri and Amanda were in charge of cottage inspections in Jonestown and made their rounds once each day to check on housekeeping. RIP, Geri, if you don't deserve rest, and peace, I don't know who does. ” - Kathryn Barbour |
