Thom Bogue, who left Jonestown with his family in the company of Rep. Leo Ryan, was interviewed on KDRT Radio, an independent radio station in Davis, California, in August. Thom is one of the primary sources for A Thousand Lives by Julia Scheeres, and the program discussed his life both in Peoples Temple and in the years since the deaths in Jonestown.

Laura Johnston Kohl, who has written extensively for this site, was interviewed on KGTV, San Diego’s ABC affiliate, in August about the discovery of cremated remains in a Delaware mortuary (see related story here). Laura also wrote on her blog about her work with investigators in Delaware to reunite the cremains with their loved ones.

In addition, Laura’s book Jonestown Survivor was released as an audiobook in the fall of 2014.

Seductive Poison, Deborah Layton’s account of her life in Peoples Temple and her escape from Jonestown in May 1978, was released as an audiobook in early 2014.

Leslie Wagner-Wilson, who has written extensively for this site, was interviewed on WSB-TV, Atlanta’s Cox affiliate, on the 35th anniversary of the Jonestown deaths.
