B. CONTINUATION OF GUYANA’S RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND TRADE UNION FREEDOMS.
— U.S. MISSION SHOULD ASSURE THAT USG POSITION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND TRADE UNION FREEDOMS ARE CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD WITHIN THE BODY POLITIC OF GUYANA, BY MEDIA PLACEMENT OF PERTINENT ARTICLES, OFFICIAL DEMARCHES AND INFORMAL DISCUSSIONS.
— FREQUENT CONTACTS BY EMBASSY LABOR OFFICER WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF THE TRADE UNION COUNCIL AS WELL AS MEMBER UNIONS.
— PERIODIC VISITS BY REGIONAL LABOR OFFICER.
— CONTACT BETWEEN GOG AND AFILD AT HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL.
