Sharon – Please convey first thing in the morning (if it is possible to relate this – we may want to plant the suspicion in the mind of top people).

  1. I have a strong suspicion Jake will try to carry out either foreign dollars or gold for Neil Cheong when he goes (either tomorrow or Wednesday). Reasons:
    1. At the Friday party Neil’s son who is a bit crazy said his father carried out foreign currency in front of two of his friends: the Dep. Commissioner of Inland Revenue (George Wong) and Commissioner of Police Lloyd Baker. Neil was remarking that Barker has no friends where an offense is committed. The story Neil’s son further gave was that Jake helped Neil out in a tight spot at the airport one time. Normally Neil is not searched because he has friends in customs but he is afraid now that he’ll be searched. He said it doesn’t matter, I have nothing to hide. I felt the comment was for my benefit.
    2. This Sunday morning, Neil and Jake went dashing down to Neil’s office and came back with a little shopping bag and went into Neil’s bedroom shutting the doors. Neil never goes to his office on Sunday. Neil’s office and his bedroom have safes in them.
    3. Jake has no problems as a diplomat with customs either leaving Guyana or entering U.S.
    4. If we want to plant this suspicion, it should probably center more around comments made at the party in front of about 20 people, with a suggestion that Jake is suspected of carrying out something for Neil, because of Neil’s pls [plans] to move to Canada. In fact, through real estate agent Dorren DeCaires, Neil sold his house this week to the Catholic nuns. (for support of Neil’s motive for sending gold or $ [illegible notation]).
