WAREHOUSE REFRIGERATOR
39 cans tuberculin, old tine tests, 25tests/can, 975 tests
2 cans Sept 77, 2 Jan 79, 35 May 78 • its ok
1 can glycerin suppositories (48 originally in can, a few may have been used) slightly melted together (probably still just as good, glycerin is like wax, being melted a little doesn’t hurt it)
test tubes with culture media 12 one type, 9 another, 7 another (labels not clear) maybe usable, I don’t know
36 empty test tubes without the screw on caps
15 more tubes culture media
100 injections of cyanocobalamine (seems OK)
1 vial typhoid vaccine, expired, which was supposed to be kept cold and which was warm for an unknown length of time. I don’t trust it.
10 test tubes, red top, each with dark brown fluid, a name, & a date
1 lb can dehydrated culture media to be prepared (OK)
1 lb can dehydrated Loeffler medium Not expired, does not need refrigeration so it’s ok
(there is also some insulin which will be moved to nurses refrigerator)
(at one time the refrigerator was found to be off and may have been off for any length of time up to 6 weeks. Anything in it that really needed refrigeration is suspect. However, contents were cool, about 65 or 70 degrees. For tuberculin tine tests and dehydrated culture media, that’s all you really need, just coolness.)
