Section OO-3 – which is labelled in the Guyana Index as “Medical – Misc Inventory” – comprises 157 pages.
The listing below is complete for this section of the FBI’s FOIA release. The complete PDF for this section as released by the FBI is here.
The citation for these documents should open with the FBI’s official designation of these records, which is “RYMUR 89-4286.” Each individual page in these records has a unique number. Page 21 of this document, for example, is marked “OO-3-D-1”. The complete citation for that page, then, would be “OO-3-D-1”.
This section was transcribed by Brittni Criglow, who added the notes below. The editors of this site are deeply indebted to her for her assistance.
OO-3 contains various inventory lists from trunks or crates shipped to Jonestown, mostly those carrying medical or chemical supplies. This section also includes various chemical orders from and written by Larry Schacht and Pauline Groot. Mixed within these documents are miscellaneous files like a report from the Medical Department by Phyllis Chaikin, Nursing Care Plans, and some study notes.
Notes on using this transcription: Notes from the transcriber and attempts at deciphering words or numbers are in brackets. Additionally, I have tried to show where there exists writing that I was unable to read by marking it Illegible or with a question mark, also within brackets. Due to the handwriting and quality of the scan, some pages contain scientific formulas that may have been transcribed incorrectly, as the transcriber is not entirely familiar with chemistry. Any corrections are welcome.
