1. DCM MET SEPT 18 WITH CHIEF JUSTICE SIR HAROLD BOLLERS AND REGISTRAVSOF COURT TO DISCUSS STATUS OF STOEN CASE. HE EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT, AFTER MANY MONTHS, CASE APPEARED TO HAVE MADE NO PROGRESS AND ENQUIRIED AS TO WHAT JURIDICAL MEASURES ARE NEXT CONTEMPLATED.

2. CHIEF JUSTICE REGRETTED THAT EIGHT MONTHS OF WORK AND FOURTEEN HEARINGS HAD BEEN LOST WITH WITHDRAWAL OF MR. JUSTICE BISHOP FROM THE CASE. HE SAID THAT BISHOP HAD BEEN HARASSED BY OFFENSIVE TELEPHONE CALLS AND HAD FOUND IT NECESSARY TO HIRE SECURITY GUARD FOR RESIDENCE.

3. WITHDRAWAL OF BISHOP WILL REQUIRE ASSIGNMENT OF CASE TO ANOTHER JUSTICE WHICH WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED SHORTLY AFTER IMMINENT RETURN OF JUSTICES FROM SUMMER VACATIONS. GUYANESE LAW WILL REQUIRE THAT CASE BE HEARD AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING, DE NOVO, ACCORDING TO CHIEF JUSTICE AND REGISTRAR.
