[Name deleted] [Louis Gurvich] was interviewed Dec. 20, 1978, and indicated meeting had taken place [line deleted] and was held his request.
[Gurvich] indicated he telephonically contacted [Name deleted] a few days prior to the [Name deleted] meeting in efforts to locate Terry [Terri] Buford who he thought might be in a position to furnish further information regarding the Guyanese matter. [Gurvich] indicated he and

[Line deleted] are considering filing suit against the Peoples Temple and details both Lane and Buford have with regard to this matter would assist in their determination in regard to this suit.
[Gurvich] advised the motivation for [half line deleted] was the fact that Lane considered him to be the only competent observer in Guyana immediately preceding [following] the suicide-murders and that Lane was soliciting his views in preparation of writing a book.
[Gurvich] advised neither [several works deleted] made any proposals of any sort and the conversation related solely to matters as previously set out.
[Gurvich] indicated he had present commitments and would be happy to sign a statement regarding the above facts at a later date. In view of nature of statement, however, New Orleans will not pursue obtaining signed statement unless advised to the contrary by 00.
