Re San Francisco teletype to Bureau and New York, December 15, 1978, requesting additional identifying info on Dr. Walter Dunkin and Gene Brown.

On approximately December [November] 8, 1978, Don Harris, NBC-TV news reporter, filmed interviews with Brown and Dunkin in what appeared to be Charles Garry’s law office. Brown is a black male, approximately 55 years old, who identified himself on film as a psychologist and medical doctor who was Jones’ personal physician, although not a member of the P.T. He had recently returned from Jonestown and favorably described conditions there. He stated that he went to Jonestown at the

request of Jones. He described Jones as “physically sick” but would not elaborate.

Gene Brown mentioned in referenced airtel, is identical with Jean Brown, white female and present member of P.T.

Neither Harris’ notes for the NBC film giving me additional identifying information on Brown or Dunkin. Charles Garry should be able to assist San Francisco in locating Dunkin. FBI HQ advised NYO that a copy of the NBC film will be made available to San Francisco.
