1. It was announced this morning (Dec 19) during the preliminary inquiry into the deaths of Linda Sharon Harris (a.k.a. Sharon Amos) et al. that Stephan Jones had been charged with the attempted murder of Stephanie Jones. Subsequently, Stephan Jones appeared in the accused dock with Charles Beikman and a police man swore to the accuracy of the charges.
2. As predicted reftel, because both Beikman and Jones will stand accused together.
The preliminary inquiry will now have to start all over again. Magistrate Christian fixed the date for the reading of the police report for Jan 10, 1979. (Reading the report is necessary before the inquiry can begin.)
3. Regular format arrest cable will follow after Conoff [Consular Officer] visit to Jones.
