During the laboratory examination of a revolver recovered in Jonestown, Guyana, a quantity of dried material believed to be blood was recovered from the barrel. Inasmuch as this weapon has been alleged to have been associated with Jones and could have been used in the shooting of Ryan, Annie Moore, and Jones, Baltimore at Dover, Delaware is requested to contact mortuary officials at Dover Air Force Base to obtain blood samples from Anne Moore and James Warren Jones if available. If not available, Baltimore is requested to obtain a report regarding these individuals’ blood type characteristics.
Baltimore is requested to handle this matter promptly and forward results of your inquiry to the Laboratory Division,
