1. Minister of Labor and Jonestown Committee Coordinator Hamilton Green informed charge July 25 that Minister of Information and Culture Shirley Field-Ridley had accepted an invitation (presumably from Southern Christian Leadership Conference President Dr. Joseph Lowery) to attend the SCLC meeting in San Francisco in early February on the Jonestown tragedy. The SCLC president and his colleagues had called on Ms. Field-Ridley during their late December visit to Guyana.

2. Minister Green added that Ms. Field-Ridley may elect to pass through Washington on her triac.
