1. Legatt advises for use on [of] San Francisco that Assistant Commissioner of Guyana Police C. A. Roberts, Director of People’s Temple investigation, stated Jonestown basketball team was in Georgetown week of November 13-18, 1978, however, participated in local games and not national tournament. Review of local newspapers for pertinent period reveals no national tournament or mention of People’s Temple or other teams.

2. Consular official recalls meeting Paula Adams about November 17, 1978 and she had recently returned from US. Consular official viewed US passport of Adams recently and recalls it had been used.
