Re Butel to ME & SF, January 29, 1979, requesting interview of Terri Buford re Peoples Temple bank accounts in Panama.
On February 12, 1979, Buford telephonically located at home of Mark Lane, Memphis, Tenn. Buford advised she has documents re bank accounts which she has gathered to turn over to the FBI; however, her attorney, Mark Lane, advised he is to be present during interviews and he is currently out of city until approximately February 19, 1979. Buford is departing shortly and will not return until approximately February 22-23, 1979.
In order to expedite obtaining of information, in view of the

above delays, Buford was furnished questions set forth in re tel. Buford advised she is in frequent telephonic contact with Lane and during next contact will discuss questions with him and, if approved, she will furnish the documents and answers prior to his return and her departure.
Memphis will inform Bureau and San Francisco of results.
