AUSA [Assistant US Attorney], San Francisco requests to expedite the obtaining of Guyana police interviews of [names deleted] [Tim and Mike Carter], Mike Prokes as previously requested. Above individuals have refused any statements to the FBI or Federal Grand Jury and statements made by above individuals are the only existing explanation for their activities in Guyana. AUSA realizes statements made to police and statements at Coroner’s Inquest are essentially the same, however, any differences, additions, or deletions in comparing statements are most significant in his grand jury proceedings. If above individuals were interviewed

more than once, AUSA is desirous of obtaining each interview.

The Bureau is requested through Legat Caracas in Caracas or Georgetown, Guyana or through State Department and US Embassy, Georgetown, to expedite receipt of above interviews.
