Re SF teletypes to the Bureau dated 7/8/80.

On 7/14/80, Special Agent [name deleted], Office of Security, United States Department of State (USDS) advised no record could be located regarding [Hardat Sukhdeo], Md, as being an employee, consultant or medical expert with the USDS. [Name deleted] further states that the USDS hires only US persons in the US for medical services.

Enclosed passport records were received on 7/15/80 by SA [name deleted] from the Passport Office, USDS, Washington, DC. Passport Office advises the passport F023700 for Laurence John Layton issued January 20, 1975 expired January, 1980. Passport Office further advised that they are approximately 1 year delinquent in the filing of passport application for newly issued passports and as such they are unaware if Laurence John Layton has been issued a new passport.
