United States Attorney, San Francisco, advised that previously scheduled trip to Guyana, for October 18, 1980, is postponed indefinitely. American Embassy is requested to cancel charter aircraft to Port Kaituma as well as all hotel reservations.
Bureau is requested to relay above to State Department for immediate transmittal to American Embassy, Georgetown.
UACB SA Donald R. Hale will travel to FBIHQ as previously scheduled for interview with House Intelligence Committee on October 17, 1980.
