Enclosed herewith for SF are two copies of a self-explanatory memorandum from the US Department of Justice (DOJ), dated 6/18/81, regarding the captioned matter.
On 6/16/81, the DOJ advised that the US Attorney’s Office, SF, had been authorized to furnish the names of the prospective jurors directly to the SF Division. The instant list of jurors has not been received by the DOJ to date.
Upon receipt of the instant juror’s list, SF is authorized to conduct the following:
1. Review field office indices.
2. Conduct SF area District Attorneys’ Offices for prior jury service information.
3. Conduct SF area police agencies for indices checks.
