Enclosed for FBI Fingerprint Section to be disseminated to [name deleted], Special Security Office, Main Justice, Room 6525, Washington, DC, is one (1) certified copy of California Driver’s License [number deleted] with original application bearing thumb print; one (1) certified copy of California Driver’s License [number deleted] with original application bearing thumb print.

For the information of the Bureau, the Department of Justice, Special Security Office, Main Justice, is conducting security background investigation on [name deleted], born [date and place deleted], Northern District of California, related to upcoming trial of defendant Larry Layton, scheduled to commence 8/17/81.

Investigation by the Department of Justice determined that another individual bearing the name of [deleted], born [date and place deleted], has numerous drug arrests on his criminal history report on file at the Bureau. San Francisco has been requested to differentiate the identities of these two individuals.
