Re San Francisco teletype to Director, June 25, 1981.

FBI San Francisco has been advised via US State Department that Guyanese witnesses will depart Guyana August 7, 1981 at 6:45 AM on GAC [Guyana Airlines Company] flight number 708 arriving Miami 10:25 AM. Witnesses will depart Miami 1:20 PM on Pan Am flight 949 arriving San Francisco 5:20 PM. Return flight open.

Witnesses traveling identified as follows: (1) Commissioner of Police, Skip Roberts; (2) Superintendent of Police, Alvin Smith; (3) Inspector Jugmohan, Guyanese police; (4) Sergeant Daby Dyal, Guyanese police; and (5) Supernumerary Constable Mortimer Kansinally.

On departing Georgetown, Guyana witnesses will be advised by the American Embassy that they will be met in Miami by Special Agent [name deleted], telephone (305) 573-3333, and in San Francisco by Special Agent Don Hale, telephone (415) 552-2155. On arrival in San Francisco witnesses will be furnished transportation to lodging and SA Hale will also provide additional advanced per diem in cash.

In Miami Special Agent [name deleted] is requested to meet Guyanese witnesses and assist at Immigration, Customs and flight transfer.

As San Francisco witnesses will be met by SA Donald R. Hale.
