For the information receiving offices, on February 14, 1985, the Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments on the government’s motion for the admissibility of evidence (last hour tape).
No trial date has been set, no ruling has been forthcoming from the Ninth Circuit and is not anticipated for a minimum of sixty days. Earliest possible trial date could not commence before summer, 1985 and most probably considerably longer.
San Juan, through American Embassy, Georgetown is requested to advise the Government of Guyana of recent developments. The Bureau
