1. Consul and Vice Consul visited USC Charles Beikman in Georgetown prison February 1, 1980, and delivered a letter sent c/o Embassy. Beikman acknowledged that he receives mail regularly. Meeting was first private one by Conoffs with Beikman since his imprisonment.
2. Conoffs were conducted on prison inspection tour, as per request outlined Ref. (A), by Superintendent of Prisons and found Beikman’s cell of adequate dimensions.
