1. Receiver for People’s Temple has again inquired about two checks from Title Insurance and First Company made payable to Ronald W. Grimm in the amounts of $36,372.91. The first check issued June 5, 1978 was reported as lost and a replacement check for the same amount was issued October 9, 1978.
2. Although it is very unlikely that either check is in the Embassy’s possession, especially in view of earlier request for checks in name of Phyllis Houston, Embassy is requested to verify once again that checks made payable to Ronald Grimm are not being held at the Embassy.
