Enclosed is a summary of babies in the nursery who have no passports and some of whom are not registered or are registered as only US or Guyanese.
I recommend that we start thinking about getting them registered and not getting them passports. To obtain Guyanese registration (legitimate) a couple has to be married and the baby less than three months of age. If the baby is over three months the couple has to meet with the registrar officially. To obtain US registration a couple has to be married if we want to show the child as legitimate.
The couples are not married and must be before they can obtain registration include –
- Tim and Gloria Carter
- Sandy Jones – if we want to show the twins as belonging to her
- Eileen and Ted McMurry
- Tiny Solomon and James Turner
- Shirley Mitchell and Charles Marshall
- Cassandra Minor
- Regina Duncan
- Pat Bowman and Chuckie Henderson
After the marriage, dual citizenship could be obtained and a passport gotten – perhaps with just one visit into Georgetown.
Nawahskoko Rosa (Kamari Jones) needs to be registered dually. Santiago and Gloria are married so a passport should be no problem. I sent word to town to pick up the birth certificate.
Montese Cobb could be registered to Darlene Ramey but she will need to get married first.
Shovani Walker has not been legally adopted by Tony and Andrea so I am not sure how this will work unless we get the mother to get a passport for us.
Travis Lang (Jelani Wilkerson) is not legally adopted. Perhaps the mother could be talked into getting a passport for him.
Kamilah Griffith has dual citizenship and her parents need only to pick up a passport.

LaShea Wilhite has US citizenship, needs Guyanese citizenship and a passport. Shouldn’t be difficult since they are married. Maybe when Kenny goes in for the band he can take care of that.
Zateese Simon has US citizenship, needs Guyanese citizenship and a passport.
Johnathan [Jonathan] Johnson has dual citizenship and needs only a passport. Perhaps Ralph could pick up a passport while in town.
Martin Smith has Guyanese citizenship. Needs US citizenship and a passport. Perhaps Eugene could take care of this while in town.
