  2. According to Bob Christian, he could not find Tony Linton until 1030. Cornelius Truss reportedly asked Tony to help him move some beds at approx 0730 until 0930. At 0930 Tony ate breakfast telling the servers that he had worked all that morning so he wasn’t able to eat at the regular time. Tony was unaccounted for before 0730 and from 0930 to 1030.
  3. Beverly Mitchell found 7 sheets & 1 rug in Tommy Kice (Jara) trunk. When confronted Tommy owed up to taking two of them (sheets) from the laundry. DH (Bob) escorted him to the PSU [Public Service Unit].
  4. Willie Malone – supposed to be working in the shoe shop and we saw him washing cloths [clothes] in the laundry. DH asked Moten and he said he told him he could wash. This seems like it should be done on his own time.
  5. Barbara Walker – was observed today. While in SCU she was observed getting hostile with Larry Schact [Schacht]. She asked if she could go home.

D.H. Report

  1. Willie Malone signed up late for medical treatment.
  2. According to Bob Christian, he could not account for Tony Lacy until 1030. Cornelius Truss reportedly asked Tony to help him move some beds approx. 0730 until 0930, at 0930 Tony ate breakfast telling the servers that he had been working all morning so he wasn’t able to eat at the reg. time. Tony was unaccounted from before 0730 and from 0930 till 1030
  3. Some kind of conflict between Roosevelt T. [Turner]. & Daryl K. [Darell Keller]. Roosevelt wanted D.H. to deal with Daryl this A.M. but no one was available. I recommended to Roosevelt to write it up. I talked to Roosevelt on Wens. morning and he said Daryls attitude has been uncooperative of late. Daryl feels that Roosevelt doesn’t give him a proper chance.
  4. Beverly Mitchell found 7 sheets & 1 rug in Tommy (Jara) Kice’s trunk. When confronted Tommy owed up to taking two of the sheets from the laundry. I escorted him to P.S.U. for theft.

IS. Info Only

  1. Newandrian [Newhuanda] Darnes told me that last Sun. when Chris was watching Mary Baldwin that Mary was making many negative remarks about the amount of stealing around here and about things stolen from her. I don’t believe Chris reported this.

I.S. Info (cont)

  1. Assigned Bonnie [Simon] & M. [Mary] Baldwin & Tenitra [Tinetra Fain] to B. [Barbara] Walker. They stayed with them most of shift due to guests coming and going all day.

NOTE: B. Walker acting very upset, I strongly urged Joyce Parks to increase meds until guests leave. She complied and Dr. S [Schacht] ordered Valium & birth control pills in addition to Thorazine. The birth control pills are to counteract an estrogen deficiency while on her period. I brought it to the attention of the medical department that it had been a month since her last outburst and that her cycle was in corolation [correlation] with previous outbursts. They cooperated?

  1. Coordinated Gary Tyler for Front Entrance for I.I.34; couldn’t find a partner
  2. Numerous small incidents today have made this an exceptional pain in the ass. Yes I did earn my keep today.

Bob

*Near incident this am (approx. 0900) Mazer [Joe Mazor] apparently left E. [East] House unescorted, he was part way up the path when Bob Christian started a conversation. Bobs conversation was apparently to stop Mazer. Dad talked to Christian shortly afterward. Mazers breakfast was on its way down at the time so it turned out OK

Thursday 8/75 (Day Helper Report)

Eugene Smith told the (DH) that he was off work, so the (Day Helper) asked Jack Beam & he told me that Eugenewasn’t off work. Eugene sat around for a while, This was about 2:00pm Thursday.

The following signed up late for med. treatment on Thurs. Walter Williams, Joyce McIntyre, Terry Bargermen [Terri Bargeman], James Turner, & Anthony Ford. Denise Johnson also signed in late & didn’t take a medical excuse to the Ag. Office like she was supposed to do.

Eileen Tucker took one hr to get back to her job site after leaving the med. dept.

Workers are usually late in returning from lunch when the whistle doesn’t blow. They used the whistle as an excuse.

According to Mike Carter, Jerome Anderson requested to check out a blank tape then a news tape. This seemed suspicious to Mike. Mike told him that they didn’t give out news tapes or blanks. This may have been innocent on Jerome[‘s] part but it did seem odd.

Re: Tony Linton & David Goodwin

They were seen together in the cottage area in the beginning of the Russian class. Later on they were both seen again and when ask[ed] why they were in the cottage area David gave two different reasons. David said he was coming from  the bathroom & Tony said he was coming from the well by East House, but that can not be true because they was both coming from the same direction together. To our understanding they are not supposed to be seen together.

*Re: L.V McKinnis: Everyday for the last pass three or four days L.V. push his way up to the front of the dinner line. He understand[s] he is to be at work at 5:00pm but, that still don’t give him a reason for such actions.
