Vibert Mingo was the Guyanese Minister of Home Affairs for the duration of Peoples Temple’s existence in Guyana. On balance, the Georgetown staff considered him an ally, although he did take pains to separate himself from the Temple after the deaths in Jonestown.
The following table includes the Temple’s notes of phone calls and meetings with Mingo, and Temple memos which discuss the minister. Insofar as possible, they have been arranged in chronological order. The text of the memos appears here.
