DECLARATION OF BONNIE BECK
I, Bonnie Beck, hereby declare:
During the fall of 1972 [Indianapolis journalist] Carolyn Pickering was doing a series of articles on Jim Jones and Peoples Temple for her paper, the Indianapolis Star. I called her at her office in Indianapolis and discussed her series of stories. She stated that she was planning a series and that I would be very surprised to read about some information that she was planning to publish. She stated that the FBI and other various law enforcement agencies were investigating Peoples Temple and Jim Jones. She stated that Peoples Temple was being investigated because of their support of Angela Davis.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
