Re: “Actress”

April 8 Sat. The actress Richard [Janaro] so enthusiastically wanted us to meet was one of the phoniest person I’ve ever met. She tried to make it in films and failed miserably if you ask me. She tried to be gregarious but would suddenly withdraw and just stare at nothing. She tried to impress us but we could tell she was lying because she contradicted herself several times. She had us meet her at the Pegasus but then asked us to drop her off at Stabroek market. I think she thinks the project would be an interesting life after seeing the cultural show. We told her to come & see the project if she’s in the Northwest. I think she was involved with drugs when she was in Southern Cal. That’s my guess. She reminded me of the hippies that used to hang out on Sunset Blvd. I congratulated Richard on making such a great P.R. contact. Let’s hope we never see her again. I think she is Black & Indian; but the way she wore a sweat shirt that said “Truck it” on the front with a picture of a big truck.
