Dear Friend:

Thank you for your note stating that you saw mention of myself and the San Francisco Branch NAACP in the Peoples Forum. We are glad to see the fine consistent coverage of events in the black and other minority communities in this outstanding local paper.

We will certainly continue to work for Dr. King’s ideals of “brotherhood, equality, and peace for all peoples” as you stated in your letter. Thank you for your note of support.

Sincerely,
/s/ Joseph E. Hall
President

San Francisco, California

Dear Ms. Brown:

I returned to the office from an extended absence and am very sorry to be so late in returning your very disturbing letter of March 29th.

Fortunately, I have heard nothing of the sort contained in your letter. I cannot tell you how much it grieves me to know that Jim and Marceline are being subjected to this harrassment. I know they operate with so many pressures upon their time and their emotions that such conduct as this can only be at the very limits of their endurance.

I also have a clipping indicating that Jim had collapsed, but your note indicates that he is now recovering. Please extend to him my warmest and most sincere best wishes. Please call upon me if I can be of any assistance. Best regards.

Very truly yours,

e. robert (bob) wallach

Dear Ms. Johnson:

Thank you for your wonderful letter of support. Some of the strongest support that our firm has had since its founding six years ago has come from Reverend Jim Jones and persons like yourself. We are most appreciative.

Because you are so interested in the limitation on terms of judges, I am sending you a copy of my original speech before the Judicial Commission. In addition, the San Francisco Examiner has indicated to me that they will be writing an article on this issue.

I hope you are well and keep up your good work.

Sincerely,
Robert L. Gnaizda
