Kiana Parker is a 2026 graduate of Macaulay Honors College at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). Her interest in Peoples Temple grew from curiosity about its predominantly Black membership. Her broader research focuses on African American history and media representation. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 11, she also serves on the Steering Committee of iConquerMS Kids & Teens, an initiative working to advance research for and improve the lives of young people with MS.
