My dear Pastor J. Jones,

Greetings to you and sister Marceline Jones and all members and friends of Peoples Holy Temple in the name of our most holy saviours Jesus Christ, our lord.

I thank you most sincerely for your humanitarian meditation of prayer through Jesus Christ, our Lord for me. I always pray to Jesus that you enjoy good health and the United States of America and Peoples Holy Temple to be always in beautiful and successful in all its objectives and achievements by God’s grace.

I heard your voice on the radio interview the last time you visited Guyana and I was happy to learn about the good work Peoples Temple is doing in Guyana and Jonestown in the North West is progressing satisfactorily in God’s holy name. Some time ago in one of your many letters to me, you indicated that Peoples Temple will be happy to provide me with a free place to stay for a while if I ever visit your country.

I have been planning for some time to pay a visit to that most beautiful country of yours, the United States of America. I would be very grateful if your organization could be in a position to sponsor me, by sending me a letter of invitation. I thank you most sincerely in God’s holy name.

I remain yours truly, in Christ’s precious love to all.
