HEAR HIS DIVINE MESSAGE OF APOSTOLIC EQUALITY & RESTORATION!
God works as tumorous masses are passed in every service… Before your eyes, the crippled walk, the blind see!
Scores are called out of the audience in each service and told the intimate (but never embarrassing) details of their lives that only God could reveal!
Christ is made real through the most precise revelations and the miraculous healings in this ministry of His servant,
This sane spiritual healing ministry does not oppose medical science in any way. In fact, it is insisted that all regular members have yearly medical examinations and cooperate fully with their physicians.
Pastor Jim Jones founded the first Peoples’ Temple in Indiana. While in Indianapolis, he was Human Rights Commissioner. In California, he has been foreman of the Mendocino County Grand Jury and is currently a director of the federally-funded Mendo-Lake Counties Legal Services Foundation. He has been self-supporting from the start of his ministry, most recently as a public school teacher.
Pastor Jones ministers to a congregation of over 4000 active members. Facilities at the mother Temple on 60 beautiful acres in Redwood Valley, California, include senior citizens’ homes, a children’s home, a community center with a large indoor heated swimming pool, a drug rehabilitation center where over 100 youths have been rescued from the drug scene, and an animal refuge. This semester the Temple is sponsoring 58 young people attending college, most of whom are living in the four college dormitories sponsored by the church. Pastor Jones also has congregations totalling several thousands in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, San Mateo, Palo Alto, San Jose, Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno, and Los Angeles, Calif.; Philadelphia, Pa.; and Seattle and Tacoma, Wash.
Pastor Jones, with members of the large interracial youth choir and orchestra, will be coming in some of our modern fleet of air-conditioned Greyhound-type busses. For further information, write People’s Temple, P.O. Box 214, Redwood Valley, CA 95470.
