Serial 71

[Editor’s notes: This document was released both as a State Department cable as part of its 1981 FOIA release, and as Serial 71 of the FBI’s RYMUR release.

[It should be noted that the information in the cable/FBI serial was not correct. Sharon Amos was not the child of Jack and Rheaviana Beam. The Beams did have a daughter, Eleanor, who also died in Jonestown. The information was corrected at 78GEORGE3890 and FBI Serial 219.]
