Re Los Angeles telephone call to San Francisco between Special Agent [name deleted] Los Angeles, and Special Agent Don Hale, San Francisco division.

On November 20, 1978, Delta Airlines flight 965 left Los Angeles international Airport at 4:45 P.M. bound for San Francisco airport. While in Los Angeles this flight was bordered by approximately twenty press individuals along with approximately 120 other passengers.

There are seven individuals fleeing from Guyana on

this flight. They were B. Theeman [Bonnie Thielmann], W. Tietila [Wayne Pietila], J. Cobb [Jim Cobb], Ms. N. Huston [Nadyne Houston], Ms. [Mickey] Touchette, Ms C. [Clare] Bouqet, and Ms Grace Stoen.

According to Los Angeles FBI agent who briefly boarded the plane, Grace Stoen advised that she could possibly be a spokesman for the group, but she would discuss this matter further at San Francisco. It was pointed out to her that the FBI in San Francisco was very concerned about interviewing the above named individuals.

According to Delta officials in Los Angeles, an announcement of the arrival for Delta flight 965 will be made. The plan will not go to this gate but will be detoured to another gate. Particulars concerning this maneuver may be gained from Detal [Delta] representative [deleted name] in San Francisco. In addition, a stewardess on board flight -65 [965] by the name of [deleted name] may be contacted and she will point out Grace Stoen for easy identification.
