James Warren Jones, according to their records, is a white male, date of birth May 13, 1931 or May 13, 1933, 5’10” in height, 188 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He has California drivers license number R423673. Last address in the United States was 1859 Geary Street, San Francisco, California.

Jones reportedly graduated from Butler University, in

Indiana where he received a doctorate degree in unknown area.

It is believed he came to California in 1965 or 1967 where he first resided in Ukiah, California. He later established a church on Geary Street in 1970, and then another church in 1971 at Hoover and Alvarado Streets in Los Angeles, California.

The only known arrest for Jones is by the Los Angeles Police Department on December 13, 1973, for indecent exposure. Jones attempted to have this record sealed and according to [deleted name] there is no record of this arrest at the current time with the Los Angeles Police Department as the records have apparently been expunged.
