On November 22, 1978, United Airlines, Dulles International Airport, Chantilly, Virginia, received a call from Lieutenant [name deleted], Maryland State Police, who reported he received information from Andrews Air Force Base, Washington, DC. That inspector (FNU) [first name unknown] [name deleted] of the San Francisco Police Department had informed security of Andrews Air Force Base that the Jonestown cult of Guyana, South America has published an assassination list which was to be carried out if the leader of the cult was ever killed.
Tim Ritterman [Reiterman], a reporter, further description unknown, is presumably number one on that list. Ritterman was wounded in Jonestown, Guyana, while accompanying United States

Representative Leo J. Ryan of California. Ritterman, along with his father and brother will be traveling aboard United Airlines flight 57 from Dulles International Airport to San Francisco, departing Dulles at 3:45 PM, November 22, 1978. United Airlines is concerned about the safety of this passenger flight as no security escort is being provided. Ritterman and party will be traveling under an assumed name of [name deleted].
